Captain Josie, inventor of the sailing wind wheel has been pioneering new ways to enable students to learn how to sail for years. As a woman she appreciated the anxieties felt by many other women. Women sailing classes, for females only, were an early innovation at her Sailing School in Florida. Noticing that many couple wish to sail together, she designed sailing classes that not only teach couples to sail but also to work well as a team. Captain Josie then became interested in how people learn and how she could more effectively instruct her students. This resulted in her incredible new invention, the Sailing Wind Wheel.
